    CASH ONLY!!

Hot Pot Rice w/ Salmon ($10.50): The name of the dish is deceiving since "hot pot" to me is soup but the hot pot here is the crispy rice. Decent sized deep fried salmon with sauce on the side. The salmon also tasted really good with soy sauce and jalapenos provided on each table. Must order entree item!

It's no surprise the restaurant sells bottled soy sauce ($4) here. Not your average soy sauce as their version is has a hint of sweetness (similar to Kim Lan). Our party of four all agreed we could just sit there and eat the crispy rice with soy sauce and be happy!

Staff speak minimal to no English. Each meal comes with a complimentary herbal drink that tasted like sweet chrysanthemum tea - very refreshing on a warm day.

Food was exceptionally great, service wasn't the best.
I ordered salmon and crispy rice.  My friend also ordered the same.
Comes with a free glass of tea.  It's dank.  I believe it's called nuoc mat.
Restaurant was clean despite being very busy.
Not any English speakers were working when we visited so my friend ordered for us in Vietnamese.
My friend speaks fluent Vietnamese and he is very polite.
The waiter somehow misunderstood our order and only brought us one plate of food instead of two plates of food and it took forever to bring us our second plate.
Id rate 4.5 out of 5 stars if I could.
I'd give 5 out of 5 stars if the service was faster.
However I'll still give them 5 stars on yelp to help their business.
I will return and update my review.

I drive from San Diego to OC for Luc Dinh Ky! I tell the staff every time "Luc Dinh Ky is my favorite OC restaurant".

What i always order: French style catfish with burnt rice and/or salmon with burnt rice.

    Pros:
-service is ALWAYS on point (staff cares about you)
    -great value for the price.
    -opens late.
-complimentary nuoc mat (artichoke, pandan, sugar cane drink)

Conclusion: i always make the stop when passing OC for LDK!

Bonus: Met the owner Billy the other day, and he's chill!!!

This has always been my family's go-to spot for late night dinners or what we get when we don't know what to eat. Luc Dinh Ky has DELICIOUS food and I always find myself craving it. I came here recently with my boyfriend and got my favorites, French Style Beef Steak with Grilled Rice and Pan Friend Noodles.

The food is cooked to perfection, everything is flavorful and always leaves you full af but still wanting more. They also give out free nc mt and  free refills! Would definitely recommend for a late night bite or going out for family dinner.

I love that they give you free Nuoc Mat.  Nowhere in Houston that I know does that.  We always get a large bowl of wontons to start off with.  Fried Salmon Dish, Bo luc lac, salty fish and shrimp fried rice, stir fry flat noodles ( seafood or combination ), birds nest crispy noodles is our go-to dishes.  You have a choice of crispy rice or plain steam rice.  It's personal preference I choose steam my dad likes his crispy.  We always make our own sauce in a lil' small saucer with soy sauce, sugar, fresh slice chilis, and satay and dip everything in it as we eat.  Drooling**  just thinking about it.
